-Camera, lights, action!-

I finally bought the much coveted camera as stated in Ming's blog. It was rather easy trying to find something I wanted since I had previously done research on cameras. The tricky part was pushing through the throngs of people at the IT fair. Boy was it crowded! The irony of the whole situation was that my other friends were shopping at Marina Square while I was with the guys at Suntec. Nevertheless, much thanks go to Eugene and Alan for helping me to pick a reliable camera. =)

And course the night ended with dinner at Carl's Jr after which Ming went off to meet Gary. We made our way to MS and I did a spot of shopping while the guys were happy to sit on Novo's spacious couch. I bought the cutest pair of polka dot shoes with lace trimmings. Simply can't wait to wear it to cell group on Thurs..lol..was so excited that I took it out of Alan's car to show the girls when we stopped for dou hua. To which Beat's comment to Eugene was: she's (me) more excited about her shoes than her new camera!

Will post the pics when I finally am less lazy. Was back from my GB camp only this morn and was literally tired out. I only slept at 1am considering I had to console 5 of my Sec 4 girls who were crying due to some programs in running the camp. The life of a teacher you might say...ended up talking to my senior girls (another group)about what leadership is. I shared with them that we should not expect the girls to know exactly what to do when we failed to brief them properly. When the girls failed, we also failed as leaders. Hm, doesn't this sound familiar? It's not that I'm trying to 'sell' the ministry but I've really learnt a lot in this ministry. In fact I'm even applying forecast and attendance for my GB company and when it's my turn for parade, I even debrief them on what went well and wrong. LOL...anyway it's aleady half past 12..or 'Il est douze heures et demie'. Au revoir for now!
